The HelpingHands app (iOS/Android) uses no cookies. This document applies to the public website (helping-hands.world), the admin dashboard, and any future web versions.
1. Scope
The public website, the admin dashboard and any future web pages of VDGT Consultancy BV. Mobile app: no cookies.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
- Session management, CSRF protection, cookie preference storage.
Legal basis: legitimate interest. Cannot be disabled.
3. Functional cookies (optional)
Dashboard preferences. Legal basis: consent. Max. 12 months.
4. Analytics without cookies
HelpingHands places no analytical, marketing or tracking cookies.
The public website does measure aggregated visitor statistics using Plausible Analytics, but Plausible is cookieless: it places no cookies and stores no identifier on your device, which is why it appears in no category above. What it records, and on what legal basis, is set out in art. 6.2 of the privacy policy.
There are no marketing or tracking cookies of any kind, and no advertising networks.
5. How to manage cookies
- On your first visit a cookie banner appears in which you indicate your preference for optional cookies. Your choice is stored locally.
- To change your choice later, clear the stored preference via your browser's cookies/site-data settings. The banner will reappear on your next visit.
- Your browser also lets you delete existing cookies and block future ones:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data;
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data;
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data;
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break the dashboard.
